Indonesia National Football Team Success Getting Rid Of Thailand In SEA Games XXVI

Indonesia U-23 national team won three full points when dealing with Thailand on Sunday (13/11). That was victory to ensures Indonesia's steps to the semifinals. Indonesia was success to win 3-1 and  the goals were created by Titus Bonai, Patrich Wanggai and Ferdinand Sinaga. The Rahmad Darmawan's foster players succeed to won three games with a perfect score. However, there are still many deficiencies in the body of the national team. They were not able to play free against nine players Thailand.

"We were facing a mature team. Thailand appear dominant. Since the first game, they had increased quite rapidly. Our players appear depressed although against nine Thailand players. It's a valuable experience," said Rahmad Darmawan, coach of U-23 Indonesia national team  in press conference after the match.

"In the second half we were very depressed. I instructed the kids to play the ball down and play relax. However, the high pressure from Thailand to make the game a mess. As a result, although I do not like it, we were forced to play long ball. However, this strategy worked quite well by maximizing the speed of the players, "he continued.

"We were even more tense when Thailand played with nine players. It would be evaluated and should be better again in the next match," he said.
