Serie A : AS Roma 2 - AC Milan 3

It's an important victory for AC Milan for their quest to the Scudetto.  A difficult match at the Olmipico and Milan remaining in 10 players with the sent off from midfielder Kevin Price Boateng in the 78th minute.  Milan  with  three goals  jumping from the 5th position to the first position with 17 points.   For Roma crisis continuing and no clear plan  to see  the awaited recovery.  Allegri also sent off for protesting. 
   
Ex AS Roma forward Antonio Cassano ready for his return to his ex team.  Cassano played for Roma from  2001 to 2006 making 118 appearances and scoring 39 goals.  Ex AS Roma defender Philippe Mexes not called up.  Mexes played for Roma from 2004 to May 2011 making 183 appearances while scoring 11 goals. Mexes just made his debut with Milan in the match against Parma on Wednesday October 26.  The ex Milan player is forward Marco Borriello playing for Roma now.  Borriello played in Milan in two different terms, from 2000 to 2007 making 16 appearances and scoring one goal, then from 2008 to 2011 making 37 appearances and scoring 17 goals. 

It's a pity Roma emblem Captain Francesco Totti will miss this game for injury.   No top scorer for AS Roma , players with one goal are Bojan, Simplicio, Borini, Lamela, and  Daniele De Rossi with 1 goal, Top scorer for AC Milan is midfielder Antonio Nocerino with 4 goals, scoring three in one game against Parma.

What an awesome view!  I am watching the match on Rai International and  wow, guys, the Olimpico is  at his best.  Roma fans displaying banners for the Roman gladiators,   few Milan fans compared to the locals...  close up from players greeting each other.... and we are ready to rock........   Awesome to see capitan futuro Daniele De Rossi leading the team in the absence of Totti...  

Referee Damato whistles the beginning of the match.... let's roll the ball.....

Milan immediately making their statement that they mean business and there you see midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng with a through ball towards forward Robinho.. though he is offside... hey, in the very 1st minute!!!!!    You can only hear the roaring  support from AS Roma fans pushing the bandwagon not to be surprised by Milan.   

In the 4th minute Roma pressing with Jose Angel from outside the box with a left footed shot and Milan block....
 
I am telling you, Milan are going forward and you can sense the tension .....

In the 8th minute Roma closer to score with the headed shot by defender Nicolas Burdisso from the center of the box after the assist by Miralem Pjanic and missing the target to the left.. oh well, what a luck...   

So far, up to the 10th minute, the key player for Roma is Jose Angel for the rossoneri.  er the place creating danger for the rossoneri.  

Mamma miaaaaa   now this is it...   GOOOOOOOAALLLLLLLL guys, in the 17th minute, the ex Roman gladiator  midfielder Alberto Aquilani making a right footed cross to  the center where forward Ibrahimovic rushed to head the ball and despite the super stretch from Roma goalkeeper Stekelenbug nothing to do but to see the ball resting in the bottom right corner.     Ibrahimovic running to celebrate.....  and   now we are for an exciting  first half... will Roma react????

There is my answer.....  in the 28th minute Roma equalizing the score  following a corner conced by Zlatan Ibrahimovic for a foul on Pablo Osvaldo... well.. from the corner by Miralem Pjanic there you see the shot in the center where Nicolas Burdisso had only to head the ball defeating ilan goalkeeper Christian Abbiati in the bottom right corner.   Abbiati remaining upset.... while Burdisso runs to celebrate and Roma fans with a roaring  celebration.....  closeup from coach Luis Enrique seating.... 

Oh my gosh... no.. no, really?  Yep..  my heart beating so fast after the goal by who??????   It's his personal derby.. the ex Lazio  captain.. yep, MIlan defender Alessandro Nesta following a corner conceded by  David Pizarro.    Taking the corner is Robinho and  his cross in the center on the box finding Alessandro Nesta  to head the ball and defeating goalkeeper Stekelenburg in the bottom right corner.   Nesta goes wild with open eyes open mouth celebrating and you can see the shining light on his eyes for this goal.....   

In the 39th minute a forced substitution for Roma.   Fabio Borini limping and he cannot continue.  Taking his place is Bojan. 
  
Roma with a last minute attempt to  equalize in the 45th minute with assist by David Pizarro to Bojan delivering a left footed shot  and he missed it to the right !!! he can't believe his luck.. and nothing to do.. Referee whistles the end of first half.....
 

FIrst half ends 51% ball possesion AS Roma and 49% ball possession AC Milan. 


Second half starting....

Roma  pressing and in teh 48th minute  an assist by Pablo Osvaldo to Bojan  attempting a right footed shot from the right side of the box and to his disappointment he misses  sending he ball too high and wide to the right....

In the 50th minute,  Robnho on the ground....    he is now getting medial attention on the side.....

Guys, Abbiati is like a wild cat stretching to save with one hand the  headed shot by Nicoals Burdisso in the top right corner after the assist by Miralem Pjanic   Roma are  bombarding Milan in these minutes.... 

In the 63rd minute AS Roma makiing a substitution.  Fernando Gago out, Erik Lamela in ....   fans applauding Lamela....

You wont' believe this one... in the 68th minute Boateng leavign the pitch  limping....  injured  and replaced by Urby Emanuelson... wait... while Boateng was sitting on the bech. then, the suspense.. whey?:   hello hello, Boateng is  getting a red card.... a delay  one... Referee Orsato i indicating a red card for Boateng and he has to leave then bech.. it looks  Boateng said something on his way out and that's why getting the red card.. well...   Milan now with 10 players 

In the 74th minute, Milan making another substitution.  Robinho out, and the awaited  ex Roma forward Antonio Cassano  replacing him among the whistles from his ex fans ......

Mamma mia... now,  it's big  trouble for Roma....  The rossoneri in 10  still controlling the game!  In the 78thminute  following a corner conceded by Marco Cassetti.  Guys,  there you see Aquilani, the big ex,  with an assist to Ibrahimovic in the  center of the box to head the ball and goalkeeper Stekelenburg nothing to do...  the ball directly to the bottom left corner.   close up now from serious look with Luis Enrique....
 
Desperate last minutes for Roma.  In the 85th minute an assist by Lamela to  Pablo Osvaldo making a left footed shot forcing Abbiati to a super save in teh bottom left corner. 
 
wow wow, ow. two minutes later and Roma not giving up and find a goal!!!!! Yep, in the 87th minute, here is the thing ...  a left footed shot by Erik Lamela  and Abbiati saves int he bottom right corner. but  the  ball bounces and on the rebound  there it comes Bojan running to slam the final dagger with a tight footed shot  defeating  Abbiati in the bottom right corner.

 oh oh, guys, Milan coach Allegri protesting and he is sent  off... yep, Allegri got to leave for protesting.....   

Agonizing minutes with Roma pressing and Abbiati saving the result   with a save  before running  back and forth...
